Here's my opinions on each match:
3 Min. Warning Vs. Bubba/Spike/Jeff Hardy
I thought it was great seeing D-Von come out to his Dudley uniform, and the 3D! Haven't seen that in a long time. I was acually speechless when I saw D-Von run from the entrance. THE DUDLEYZ ARE BACK! AT LAST! A REAL TAG TEAM! Anyway, the match in my view was a great way to start the PPV. To say the fued was kinda crappy, the match was great! 8/10
Jamie Noble Vs. Billy Kidman - Cruiserweight Championship
I saw a few strange moves in that match, which is good. It was nearly all action throughtout. One of the key points was that nasty DDT off the top rope. OUCH, THAT GOTTA HURT! Great match, even if Nidia interferend. Good work from the Cruiserweights, glad to see Noble lose the title to someone who beat him 3 STRAIGHT TIMES! Not bad, eh? 7.5/10
Victoria Vs. Trish - Women's Championship
Now I know why they don't have many hardcore Women's matches. ;D But not in the case that there a bit dodgy, but this match was kinda cool. A lot of weapons were used, which is a good thing. I hated seeing Victoria's face when she got the nosebleed. One Item wasn't used though, The mirror. What's the point in bringing it out if you ain't gonna use it? Trish broke it with here foot anyway. Overall, good effort, should have more different matches for women. 7.5/10
Big Show Vs. Brock Lesnar - WWE Championship
Too short a match, probably because they didn't want Brock to hurt his rib any further. Still a good match, though. Brock f-5ing the Big Show was great! He got him up on his shoulders for at least 5 seconds then got the F-5 better than when Brock did it to the Undertaker! I hate Paul Heyman now. Brock could still be champ if it wasn't for that motherf***er! I hope when Brock comes back, he kicks there asses. Good Match, bit short. 7/10
The Guerreros Vs. Ray and Edge Vs. Angle and Benoit - WWE Tag Team Championships
Crazy Match in most places, some good moves shown. Thought it was wierd having Angle and Benoit out first, but then again, I couldn't really see them winning the titles back. Can't say much more because there was too much in it. Guerreros winning was sad, I though Edge and Ray would hold it a little longer, instead of less than 2 weeks. Maybe Eddie and Chavo can be worthy Tag Champions. Let's hope. 9/10
Scott Steiner Debut
One of my favorite parts of the night. Big Poppa Pump, The Big Bad Botty Daddy is back! I'm glad he kicked there asses, they were pissing me off. Hearing Scott again was also key. Good debut, can't wait till RAW. 8.75/10
Triple H Vs. HBK Shawn Michaels Vs. Rob Van Dam Vs. Booker T Vs. Kane Vs. Chris Jericho - World Heavyweight Championship
Brilliant! One of the matches of the year, I was on the edge of my seat, hoping for HBK to pull the win, and he does!Good start with RVD getting the game for most of the first 5 minutes, but hated how Jericho helped Triple H by grabbing RVD's leg. When Jericho came in, it was a bit more boring because they kept double teaming Van Dam, which is sad. Booker T got the party started when he entered. Got a nice Spinaroonie in the middle of the ring! Rob was out at this part I think. Didn't want RVD out first, but the splash from the top of a chamber took alot outta him. Kane went mad in my opinion for his 5 minutes, throwing Jericho throught that bullet-proof plastic. Key moment
Booker T was out at this time too. Didn't think he would of got far. When HBK came in last, I knew something was gonna happen. Kane reviving from the Sweet Chin Music pissed me off, though. At least Triple H got rid of him. I would of like Kane to off stay longer, but he had to go. Jericho and Triple H fighting told me that Jericho was out next, and he was, unsurprisely. Shawn made some great efforts in the match, kicking out of Lionsaults, Pedigrees and Chokeslams, oh my! The flying elbow was the end of it all in my opinion. The Sweet Chin Music, 3 count, HBK the Champion, one of the key momemts of the year. They always say something happens at a Survivor Series, and at MSG on the same night, something that would change the company was bound to happen. Full 10/10
Final Thought:
I couldn't believe all 5 titles changed on the same night. I though one of two would keep theres. D-Von coming back as a Dudley Boy was special, as was the pyro at the end. One Question remains: Where was the match of Goldust and Hurricane Vs. The Un-Americans? I don't watch HEAT if that's what your saying. Survivor Series, different layout, great PPV, best of the year. Gentleman, WWE is picking up ;D. Thanks for reading.
