October 11, 2002 | WHOOPI GOLDBERG's departure from the hit revival of "Hollywood Squares" has raised lots of questions as to who will permanently fill her vacant spot in that crucial center square. According to columnist Liz Smith, producers on the show are "nursing the possibility that the show's dream center square will soon feature former President WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON." It could happen, she says, as producer CLAUDIA CAGAN once booked a saxophone-playing Clinton on "The ARSENIO HALL Show."
