Would it be suitable for my 3 year old son to see? I read that it has some frightening scenes!

CK-I don't see any problems for you. The only possible scary scenes are not that bad (i.e. the old haunted building, the old flying ghost, some close calls with a chopping machine, Etc.). Actually, my son (11) liked it a lot and I thought it was good.
P.S. Daphne got on my nerves but Velma was hot ;D

He actually sat still for the whole thing!
