The following are highlights from a WWE.com article:
Hector Guerrero, who dressed up as the rainbow-colored beast during its short run during the late ‘80s, and again for the Gimmick Battle Royal at WrestleMania X-Seven was at Armageddon this past Sunday night.
Hector Guerrero is the older brother to Eddie Guerrero and uncle to Chavo.
“The Guerrero family has been blessed with having Eddie and Chavo Jr. follow the line of athletes in our family,” Hector said. “When they team up together, it reminds me of when Chavo (Sr.) and I teamed up together back in the ‘80s.”
“I like to stay in touch with all the guys,” Hector said. “I still do a little bit of independent (wrestling). It’s enjoyment for me more than anything. Before, it was how I made my living, now it’s purely for enjoyment.”
“To bring that ability to our sport and show the same intensity, that’s a blessing,” Hector said. “I’m very thankful to have an opportunity like today to be with people like Mr. McMahon, my brother, my nephew and some of the guys like Brock and Kurt. Anytime If I can relay my experience or help, I will always do that.”
