Tommy Dreamer has joined the writing team for Raw and will be part of the creative team for the Monday night broadcast. Dreamer's stint as a Raw writer began last week. Dreamer will remain an in-ring performer in addition to being a writer, which some may see as a potential political situation. Dreamer has always been one to put over the other talent, be it in ECW or WWE, so there probably won't be a problem in that area. Dreamer will bring a wrestler's perspective to the team, which is headed by Brian Gewirtz. Since Gewirtz's specialty is comedy, it makes sense to add more wrestling savvy to Raw's creative team.

Well, at least Tommy Dreamer can get some sense back into the writers now. Tommy as a writer not only gives him something to do, but it might also give RAW fans better storylines! We'll have to wait and see what happens...

Knowing Tommy loves using Weapons, he 99% probably will try and bring back a Hardcore Division. ;D

Hopefully, he can get Lower Card Talent to be involved in Storylines and finally be noticed for a change!

Part of the reasoning behind Tommy Dreamer's hiring as a WWE writer was to keep consistency among the storylines. After giving D'Lo Brown a push with Teddy Long, he's released and replaced with Redd Dogg, whom was at John Cena's side a few weeks ago. The WWE has had the habit, recently, of abandoning storylines and forgetting the past. Another prime example is 3 Minute Warning, who were beating on everyone and everything, and were the most feared tag team in the company. Now, they're jobbing on RAW in order to put other storylines over.

Many wrestlers were surprised to see management let Tommy Dreamer wrestle and be apart of the creative writing staff. Most of them feel it is a big mistake on WWE's part, pointing out Dreamer's style of booking in ECW. Wrestlers say that while Dreamer booked the under card matches in ECW he took an "I don't really care" attitude when asked what he wanted the wrestlers to do during the matches. Dreamer's friends and enemies alike ask the question, "How soon will Nova be called up?" Now that Dreamer is part of the creative team, he may take a major part in bringing in his long time friend Nova, whom he's known since their ECW days. Source: Pro-Wrestling Torch News Letter
