Nathan Jones missed the Winnipeg house show on Saturday night. From what I heard, he was detained at the airport in Orlando, FL for allegedly joking about having a bomb in his shoe. During a time when the country is on high alert, that isn't the brightest thing that someone can do. Ah, the legend of Nathan Jones continues to grow.

Hmm, I wonder if this is true. He was probably just messing around with one of his friends or something, and joking about how much security was at the airport. But that is still not a very smart thing to say, especially since our nation is on high alert.
But I still anticipate for his TV debut. I heard that this man is friggin HUGE!

Nathan Jones did not appear at the Winnipeg house show over the weekend. As we reported yesterday, Jones was detained by FBI agents at an Orlando, FL airport because he was reportably joking around about having a bomb in his shoe.

In an update to the Nathan Jones/bomb incident, apparently the situation was somewhat similar a scene in the comedy "Meet The Parents", where Ben Stiller's statement was blown out of proportion. Nathan Jones was stopped at the airport for a random check, but instead of putting up with the check, Nathan Jones yelled out "It's NOT like I have a bomb in my shoes", which prompted authorities to take action. After a background check, which obviously wouldn't help Nathan Jones, airport officials decided to refuse to let him get on the plane.
