western conference finals-Lakers vs Kings(w)
I believe that the Kings have the formula 2 beat the Lakers. If Stojokavich and Christy would have hit their shots when they counted the Kings would be going for a 2 peat this year. The Lakers got many calls their way in that series that caused Webber 2 sit out most of the games with foul trouble. Shaq is unstopable inside and Kobe is unguardable but I dont think they will be able 2 control the onslaught of the Kings.
Just look at the current matchup and you will see that the Kings got the edge in mismatches.
Shaq(w) - Vlade
Kobe(w) - Christy
Samaki - Webber(w)
Fox - Stojokavich(w)
Fisher - Bibby(w)
eastern conference-Hornets(w) vs Celtics
I think that Charlotte was unfortunate 2 lose sucha good team that was just ready 2 explode at any time. With that note I say the Hornets will give New Orleans a gift in their first year there by bringing back a eastern conference championship. The celtics have good talent in Peirce & Walker but I think they will get beat up by Cambell, Pj, Mashburn, Wesley, and Baron. There is just 2 much talent there and I think the Hornets have the biggest sting they have had in years granting that they dont have injury problems.
My Pick for 2003 NBA Champs: Sacramento Kings
My Pick for the 2003 Reg. Season MVP: Jason Kid
My pick for breakthrough team: Orlando Magic
My pick for breakthrough player: Grant Hill
My pick for rookie of the year: Jay Williams
