Are you going away to visit family and friends or are you staying home? I will be staying home this year. This Christmas will be VERY hectic for me. My son just turned 4 and is beginning to fully understand the whole Santa Claus thing and asks me every day how many days are left.  These last 10 weeks are going to be hell! On top of that my fiance is due with are second child the first week of December so we are in for a LONG TIRING DECEMBER! Apart from that my parents and in-laws live close by so people will be stopping by over the holiday. Plus my brother and sister and our cousins are close so we won't have a moments peace. I know I will be popping National Lampoon's: Christmas Vacation in the VCR. I watch it EVERY year!  What about you guys? Any traditions? |

My family usually does the same thing every year. We have a couple of traditions on my mother's side of the family. Together there are 9 cousins (as old as 22 and as young as 2) so all the families get together the weekend before Christmas and meet at my grandparents house for cookie decorating. As boring as it may sound, it's still fun even though I'm now 19. All of the kids and one of my Uncle's who still acts like a kid decorate. After we decorate all the cookies, we order some pizzas, eat, and leave a little while later. Then we all meet again Christmas Eve at someone's house (rotates every year) and exchange gifts. That's pretty much it for that side of the family. Then we go home and my family spends Christmas day together and we eventually go over to my other grandfather's house sometime before New Years. But the Christmas Eve get together is alway my favorite part.

I know I didn't when I was underage.  |

I like to go home for the holidays, but this year my wife unfortunately is out of work  , so we won't be flying home this year.. But my grandparents leave nearby and they always have a big dinner and stuff, so i will probably end up there wasted with my grandpa!! ;D Oh yeah, and we watch "A Christmas Story" every year without fail.. ;D ;D ;D "You'll shoot your eye out!!" |

I don't think I have ever seen that one. My son has been bugging me for days now to watch The Santa Clause, so we then will be able to go to the theatre to see Santa Clause 2. |

You have to see Scrooged if it's ever on TV (which it will be). It's a real funny movie with Bill Murray. I haven't seen Santa Clause 2 but I've seen The Santa Clause and it's not really as bad as you're probably thinking it is. |
