Well Wrestling World is, sad to say it but pretty much dead.... But what killed it?  ?? - 1st of all this board got huge cause when it started as PWS2 John, Fallen Angel, Stunner and i were the biggest and main posters at PWS and we got so many damn people to come here it wasn't funny. We all posted kinda equal at both pws2 and pws but we all had the pws2 link in our sigs and since we were all pretty popular people visited the site.. First John left PWS, then Fallen Angel left then Stunner.. I stayed but by that time had gone from pws2 for a bit and left took the sig outa my sig.... - NO PROMOTING!!!!!!!- John always used to say he had this board promoted everywhere. He didnt though... What john should have done was to have promoted the hell out of this board. -Main posters left. Most of the main posters left and John stopped posting too. Man it would be really cool if we could get this place back up to what it used to be.. Any ideas? Anyone? |

It's not really dead, it's just really slow. What really caused it is everyone getting too busy with school and jobs. We still have main posters just not the same ones that you were familiar with. Fallen Angel and Stunner got busy with school and John got a promotion at his job. The "new" main posters are also really busy right now. This place is far from dead and it's very active, just not like it used to be.

We thought a new Admin might help, and e-mail staying to return to WW.
I think we need to promote more, get some real hardcore fans on the site, possibly people who have alot of free time. Maybe chat engines or word-of-mouth will work?

No offence to John ... but John killed Wrestling World. He's never online and friggin' hell ... the PPV Board is still 'Summerslam Discussion'. I suggested a new admin ... but John wouldn't have noticed it anyway. No offence to John, it's just he isn't at the boards enough to keep things runnin' smoothly.
I don't know when the last time FallenAngel was here, but a while back I suggested taking him off the Global Mod spot ... but again no body listened. FA left, came back and posted like once a month.
It sucks badly that Stunner's gone as well. Stunner was one of the best ... if not THE best poster at WW. Hell, Stunner's World was named after him!

alright, i'll tell ya what happnned to Wrestling World, in my limited time I've seen- nothin new or interesting in the off topic section- a vital point to keeping a site alive. ya gotta get something ew here besides the silly games  but i'm trying to stick with the board, i've got a bit more extra time recently and i'm looking for a new board to latch on too, hopefully this will be it ;D |

Yeah, everyone just seems to post in the games, and after that started happening, I stopped posting for a while. To get people to post NEW topics and whatnot I have taken the liberty to Lock all the current games. Hopefully this will get people to post on other topics other than the games(I must admit I post alot in the games but I DO post in the wrestling sections as well, so don't blame it all on little ole me! ;D). |
