James Patterson fans;
I've enjoyed his work. I find that some authors become a little to wordy on matters that I feel are.....not as important. For me, Stephan King has become one (my opinion).
Even though James Patterson is more of an 8th grade reading level, his books are GREAT! With that I give the following;
If you're an Alex Cross fan, I believe that you'll find "Violet's Are Blue" dissapointing.
If this is Alex Cross last ride, then I've been robbed (remind's me of the last Seinfeld episode)! The story has potential, but considering what was left on the table in "Rose's Are Red"....
*if you have not read it, stop reading this NOW*
more is/was expected as Alex Cross find's out who the "Mastermind" is. To me, the story seemed....rushed. All is not lost though.....I have almost finished "2nd Chance".
The storyline is great and the character development is as well. For those that may say-"I don't have time for book's", then you may not have read any of Patterson's work. The book's are established to be a quick read and a page turner. I suggest all of his work and if you decide on the "Alex Cross" series, please read them in order, and read ""suzanne's Diary for Nicholas".
How's next??

I hate reading. It's boring. It's make believe. Not interesting. And it bores the hell out of me.

I understand......."Dick and Jane" and "Clifford the Big Red Dog" get old! But when you can color inside the line's of YOUR book's, then maybe you'll enjoy them!

i have all the Stephen King books, The lord of the rings sreies, a bunch of Star Wars books (I like sci-fi and fantasy) and I hate to admit it....... I just read all the Harry Potter books that are out and were surprised at how well written they were. I got so involved in the story that I read all 4 in 5 days.

djspinc; Try to Keep, by F. Paul Wilson! I enjoyed quite a bit. The Harry Potter books peaked my intrest, but I haven't read them yet.
imnotsaying, I used to like Koontz ALOT! I read everything by him that I could my hands on. After "Intensity", I lost intrest. I though his stuff was too predictable. His best book was, "Watchers". If he has written anything better since them, let me know.
Have you tried Tami Hoag, David Balducci, or Tess Gerritsen?

The last book I read was in Grade 10, "To KIll A Mockingbird" That was 11 years ago!
I don't like to read books. I tend to get bored easily and re-read the same line over and over.
