The following are notes from THQ's annual editor's day event regarding upcoming WWE games, derived from GameVice.com:
WrestleMania XIX (GameCube) - This game will be coming to GameCube with huge improvements in animation and blood, a feature not seen in WWE games games since No Mercy for N64.
SmackDown! 2003 (PS2) - The backstage areas will be more interactive, and wrestlers will be third-person, so controls are like Tomb Raider or MGS. There will be more realism added to the game and a rumored new graphics engine. Also a possibility of unique storylines being written for the game.
WWE RAW 2: Ruthless Agression (Xbox) - Steve Austin is not confirmed for the game. Improvements in the gameplay and graphics will be noticed, due to many complaints about the first RAW for Xbox. There will be a 3D crowd and a great season mode, that is actually somewhat realistic. Animation has been fixed and you can indeed rip your own songs for entrance music.
