I just had the opportunity to speak with Sanders Keel. And unfortunately THQ has decided to let Sanders go yesterday. Sanders has been with the company for 8 years and 3 months. In fact Sanders has worked on every single WWF/WWE/WCW wrestling title that THQ has produced. Sanders has issued this exclusive statement to the fans of GamingRing.com. "I would like to thank all of the fans that supported me and believed in me and the games. Sometimes change is necessary for better or worse. We will see the outcome of these changes. It isn't just me. It is about a company changing for what they believe is right. I have had many great years with THQ and have worked with many great people. I was always treated with respect and for that I am grateful. I am no longer with THQ but if you think I am done with wrestling and fighting titles, you would be wrong. My new goal is to help create a bigger better product. It will take time no matter where I wind up. THQ has done very well. But my goal now is to restore strong competition to the wrestling and fighting genre. Thank you all. "
I think I speak on the behalf of everyone here at Gamingring.com when I say that I wish Sanders the best of luck in all of his future efforts. Stay tuned for more.
