Here's my view on the matches that night:
Rey Mysterio Vs. Jamie Noble w/ Nidia (On HeaT)
Pretty Good. Rey is still keeping his moves strong. Glad to see he was someway involved with the PPV. 7.5/10
Chris Jericho Vs. Jeff Hardy
I didn't see most of it, but from what I saw, it looked alright. I'm acually very glad Jericho won, otherwise his carrer would of gone way down. I though the reaction to Shawn Michaels was confusing. It seems that 50% of the crowd like him again, while the other half still can't get over the screwjob. 6.5/10
RVD/Kane Vs. Regal & Storm for the World Tag Team Championship.
YES! Kane hurts RVD!
Although it wasn't meant to happen, I'm glad it did. Regal and Storm were very good in my opinion, along with Kane, but RVD was using those same moves again. Maybe they have split now? HOPE SO! ;D 7.5/10
Billy Kidman Vs. Matt Hardy w/ Shannon Moore for the Cruiserweight Championship.
I've decided now that my favorite Cruiserweight is now Matt Hardy. He is so much better than Jeff for a start. Great match. Lots of good spots in it, and the last Twist of Fate looked nasty. Some good moves from both men. Well Done. 8/10
Big Show w/ Paul Heyman Vs. The Undertaker
Punch, Punch, Punch, Attempt Last Ride, Fail, Punch, Punch, Chokeslam, pin, kick out, punch, punch, Big Show died. Not much of a match, although the jump over the top rope was very well done. Sad to see that Nathan Jones didn't interfere. Maybe him and A-Train are in cahoots? We will find out..... The Submission finish in my opinion was confusing. Why he lose to that? Well, knowing that both of Undertaker's Finishers are lifting moves (three if you count the Tombstone), he had to do something. 5/10
Team Angle w/ Paul Heyman Vs. Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit & Edge. (Edge was taken out before hand, so it became a 3 on 2 handicap match).
I'm sad that Rhyno didn't fill in, but I'm hoping.... SmackDown! He probably wouldn't of fitted in, going back straight away. He hasn't got a grudge with T.A yet. Anyway, on to the match. I'm glad Brock and Angle didn't get in the ring for too long. I'm also glad that Team Angle did well. I loved the bit in the match where Benoit kept reversing the Anklelock into a Crossface. He can get it from anywhere! ;D Great match, even if it was a bit short. 8.5/10
Triple H w/ Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista Vs. Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Better than the one at the Rumble, but still preety poor. Became more alive near the end when Orton and Batista got involved. Although I hate Triple H, I'm glad he's won. At least now Booker T can take it at WrestleMania! 4/10 (Maybe a 5/10 because of the Evil-otion ending.)
Stone Cold Steve Austin Vs. Eric Bischoff.
Although it was obvious who was gonna win, I enjoyed seeing Eric get his ass kicked. All Eric did was a kick (that had no effect.). I laughed my head off at the end when Steve Austin gave him a 4TH STUNNER! Jim Ross was funny on commentary as well. 10/10
P.S. I also got goosebumps when Austin's Music Played. ;D :shakes:
Hulk Hogan Vs. The Rock
WTF? Rock has a crappy new Entrance Theme and an over-rated Entrance Vid. I was wondering what the hell it was. For half a minute, I was thinking, something big is gonna happen. Guess what? Nothing did.
Not bad a match, although Hogan definetly is slowing down. What got me though was when the ref. was 'knocked out'. I though 'What the hell happened?'. Great Ending. Didn't expect it to end like that. That Vince McMahon bit at the end with the 'Watchya gonna do Brother? NOTHING!' shirt, I fought was disgraceful. I hope Vince gets his ass kicked at WrestleMania. 6.5/10 (I added 0.5 because of the ending.)
Overall: 8/10. Very good. Two decent PPV's in a row, and with a great WrestleMania ahead, let's hope it lives up to the Hype (by miles if possible). ;D
This was The Next Big Thing with my No Way Out review. ;D
