The “Photo of the Day” on WWE.com today is of Bill Goldberg with a caption saying “Get the inside scoop Saturday night on Confidential”. Confidential will cover the demise of WCW and will also talk about Goldberg coming to the company.
There has still been no deal reached between Goldberg and WWE as they are still trying to work out what kind of schedule Goldberg will be working. WWE wants Goldberg to work a full schedule, while he only wants to work selective dates like he did with WCW. Many feel that WCW spoiled guys like Goldberg and Sting by not making them work full schedules. However, WWE cannot afford to do that. This of course is holding up both Goldberg and Stings’ contract in WWE.
Negotiations continue and we will have more information as it becomes available.

why can't we just leave Goldberg and Sting in Japan and forget about them? they will ruin things in the WWE, its bad enough having HHH, Steiner, Hogan, UT and now Austin here

I wouldn't go so far with Austin, Hulk Hogan and Taker.
Steiner might as well quit as a wrestler and HHH needs a bit of an attitude adjustment. But that's it.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with HHH, Steiner, Hogan, UT or Austin.
Sting is great and I would love to see him in the WWE. The only man in Wrestling today that iIdon't want in the WWE is Goldberg.

Bill Goldberg returning to wrestling with WWE does not look to be happening any time soon. For weeks now it has been said that the two parties have been in close talks about a possible contract, however, he wants less dates and WWE wants more. There has still been no movement in the negotiations, although many want Goldberg to come to an agreement before WrestleMania at the end of next month.

i beleive goldberg and STING are holding out.....for each other. The first to sign the other is going to want more and is causing a big headache for the WWE. As everyone knows i'm a big sting fan but this i'm retired until vince gives me this huge contract is bull for him and goldberg. just sign, wrestle for two years and call it a day.
