Part 2 of Bret Hart's one on one interview with Micheal Landsberg aired. Here are the highlights.
Hulk Hogan: They showed a clip of Hulk Hogan praising Bret about a column he did. However Hogan brings up that Bret's manager sent Hogan a nasty letter asking why Hulk bashed Bret during the period of his stroke. Bret says that the problem with Hogan was that him and Hulk were supposed to meet for the WWF title at Summerslam 93 but Hogan wanted no part of passing the torch to Bret because the champion is the one who is getting the most money. Says that once he got to WCW him and Hulk buried the hatchet..
WCW: Says that he respects that WCW paid him a lot of money and said that despite liking Eric Bischoff personally, he had no idea what he was doing. Says that at one time Vince McMahon told him that WCW would never know what to do with a Bret Hart and when he and Vince met in Florida, Bret told him he couldn't have been more right.
(Commercial Break)
HHH: Hesitating a little bit, Bret goes on to say that Hunter was an asskisser towards management. Says that Hunter was never one of the boys in the dressing room.
Shawn Michaels: Says that Shawn Michaels was a snake and that he doubts he would ever change (probably making a reference to Shawn finding god)
Steve Austin: Says that he has the most respect for Steve and couldn't find anything that would make him dislike Steve. Bret wishes he could have one more match with him. Bret brings up the fact that he hadn't talked to Steve since Owen's funeral in 1999 and that Steve always felt animosity towards Owen since Summerslam.
The Rock: Says pretty much the same about Dwayne as he did about Steve. Landsberg asks Bret what Rock should do (wrestle or act) and Bret says that Dwayne should do what 'he' wants to do. Says that he couldn't be more happy that Dwayne got the big break in Hollywood.
Other points:
Bret says that he already has a book finished but he is in the process of making a series of autobiographies (3 in total) that will differentiate themselves from the other books. Talks about the old superstars like Lou Thesz and others and growing up watching them. Says that Mick Foley and Hulk Hogan don't know much about the past history of the business and his book will be much different from theirs.
When asked which superstars he would like to face in his last match, he mentions that his first pick was Hennig but that can't take place. He says that it would now be Chris Benoit because Chris is his favorite wrestler.
Quickly mentions that he is very impressed by Kurt Angle and his quick progression to pro wrestling.
When asked who he would like to face for "box office" purposes he jokingly states that he would take on Vince in a "loser goes to hell" match.
A good interview overall and Bret holds nothing back. Shawn Michaels will be on the show in a few weeks to tell his side of the story.

Just got done watching the second part of Bret Hart on Off The Record. I think this was the better of the two parts. There was more wrestling content in this one than the first one. The first one was more personal stuff and about his health struggles. This is by no means a word for word recap, but I just wanted to hit on some of the key points that Bret talked about. As best as I can, here's what I recall.
So here's Bret's takeā¦<br>
On HBK: He's a two faced lying chickens***. They did not bleep the swearing for some reason. He says he'll bury the hatchet with you and then turn on you ten minutes later. When asked what he thinks of him now, Bret said that guys like him never change.
On HHH: Said he kissed ass to get his spot, basically.
On Hogan: They had planned to have a world title match in the WWF because he took photos with Hogan tugging on a rope to promote it. Said when they went to WCW they buried the hatchet. Doesn't know why Hogan bashed him in his book.
On WCW: Said that Bischoff had no idea what he was doing. He liked Bischoff, but he shouldn't have been in his position. He says that Vince McMahon years ago said that WCW would never know how to use Bret Hart. When he saw Vince in Florida a few months ago he told him he was right.
On Steve Austin: Said he was one of his five favorite people to work with. (I agree. Best Feud Ever.) Said that he saw Austin at Owen's funeral and wishes that Austin kept in touch with him since then. According to him, he hasn't. My question is why can't Bret phone him? He also said that he thinks Owen should have phoned Austin more often after he dropped him on his head at Summerslam 97.
On who he would wrestle his last match again if he had the chance: Chris Benoit. Said Curt Hennig was one of them too.
On what match he could have that would draw the most money: Vince McMahon in a loser goes to hell match.
On coming back: Said he can't wrestle due to the concussions and the stroke. He was amazed that people asked him about it when he was in his wheelchair.
On writing a book: He says he has three. He's finished writing the first two, but neither are published yet. He decided to break it up into several parts. He didn't say what they were, but I'm guessing his early days in the business, his WWF years and then his ending with WCW. He also has a coffee table book coming out in the future.
On his biggest regret in wrestling: The fact that his brother died. He thinks that if he were with the WWF at Over the Edge 99, Owen would still be here. Said that Owen asked him about all his storylines. If he were there he would have told Owen not to go through with it. He also said that he was on the road for 300 days a year over the past 23 years and wishes he got to spend more time at home.
On The Rock: Said he knew he'd be the "franchise" guy for the WWF. Thinks he should do what we wants as far as his movie/wrestling career goes.
On Kurt Angle: Said that he's somebody he really likes to watch.
To close the show, Landsberg asked if he was happy with his life. He said yes although he's had a struggle lately.
Overall, Id say it was a great interview. I think Bret looked pretty good considering his recent health problems. I'm pretty sure they'll have the interview available online at the Off The Record website (http://www.tsn.ca/otr) so check it out if you ever get the chance. I highly recommend it.
Next week, when Raw comes to Toronto, Shawn Michaels and Eric Bischoff will each have one on one interview sessions with host Michael Landsberg. I don't know when those shows will be on the air.
