Earlier today on Byte This! at WWE.com, The Rock was one of the guests (along with Jim Ross) replacing the originally scheduled Steve Austin.
Rock talked and hyped up his showdown with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin this coming Monday night on RAW quite a bit, talked a lot about his career in Hollywood, and his recent WWE stint from No Way Out and last Monday's RAW.
Dr. Tom Prichard and Kevin Kelly also asked The Rock what went down about the rumors of Goldberg meeting him on the set of his movie and what the status of Goldberg to WWE was. Rock said he had been making phone calls, setting up meetings, and doing everything possible to help further the movement in negotiations between Goldberg and WWE. In regards to the current status of the Goldberg/WWE negotiations, The Rock said "things are looking good. I don't know for sure, but from what I hear, things are really looking good."
Kevin Kelly quickly interjected by saying the window of opportunity for Goldberg to come in and work by WrestleMania is seemingly non-exsistant, but with 12 pay-per views per year, there's always an opportunity and good spot for Bill Goldberg to come to WWE.
