Oh, by the way I was discovered by an archeologist last night......but it wasn't by a butt naked, awesomely beautiful female. I believe it was the guy who was digging through the ruins in "The Exorcist". Just my luck...

P.S. I will be taking your questions so as to make my sage wisdom available to all you youngbloods!

Miss imnotsaying,
Would you like the "short and sweet" answer or the "elongated philosophical" version? I can provide both or either one. In addition, would you like the answer(s) posted on the board or would you like my response E Mailed to you?
Please advise.
Yours in pain,
virginiaron

OK then MRS. imnotsaying....here you go. Short version....we humans have an innate inability to discern between pleasure and pain. Nothing hurts forever and nothing remains pleasurable forever. It is, though, the pursuit of infinite, neverending pleasure (call it what you want...happiness, joy, bliss, satisfaction, comfortability, etc.) that makes us what we are. Without pain and hurt, we could never appreciate love and pleasure. Now, my question is..."Do you want to hear the long version now?" Best regards, Mr. Fossil
